Whitemoor Farm is just outside Congleton on the road to Biddulph - google maps will help give exact location. You can practise there and the cost is £5 payable to the farmer - just place in envelope and post through the letterbox at the farm on way up. Don't forget to close gates!

Don't forget Hawks Nest - its a brill place if a bit steep and the landings are hard when you fall off. The address is actually Wicken Walls Farm Quarnford. Easiest way to find as it really is the back of beyond is: Take the A53 Leek Buxton road. Find the Traveler's Rest Pub and when traveling toward Buxton from the pub take every left turn you can - after about 2 miles you'll come to the open gate at Hawks Nest. Pay the farmer £5 - the farm house is on the left below the bank. If no one in (which is normal as they all work long and hard up there) leave the money somewhere it can't blow away. Mr P
