Its that time of year again for us to run our one and only road trial - The John MacDonald trophy trial. This is our premier trial of the year and this year it’s been given extra significance. Earlier this year we received the sad news that John had passed away in tragic circumstance.
So we’ve really pushed the boat out to make this the best John MacDonald trial so far and after last years belter that will take some doing.
We’ve made major changes to the route with a brand new start/finish area ( no gates, honest) and 9 new sections at a new venue.
We’ve also got a sponsor for the trial - Deeside Autos, who will be supplying new trials tyres to the winners.
Camping again will be available at the Wild Boar, Wincle - at very reasonable rates. Our normal excellent caterers Tegan and Paul will be on hand to supply the bacon butties and much more .
The trial starts at 9:30, entries are already pouring in they close 16th October As normal we will have 20 sections or more to be ridden over -2 laps all will have 2 routes and we will also be doing a 50/50 route.
