ok so im 17 ride a cbr 600 and i am looking for a cheapish trials bike. i was thinking between 200 and 300cc?? i mean i handle a 600 ok so a 300 should be fine right?
oh and is there much difference between the 1999 bikes and the say 2002/2003 bikes as they look similar but is there a major difference for a beginner?

I would recommend a 200 or 250 for your first bike, as for age certainly there was a difference on a Gas Gas from a 1999 to a 2003 with the later bikes much lighter and better all round. Having said that if you can find a 99 in good condition it won't let you down.

|Its always good to go watch an trial or two before you get your first bike, that way you can see for real what people are riding now and hear what they think.
Trials and Motocross News, this and trhe Macc trials web site will tell you whats on where and when.
