Well, I want to start by saying thanks to ALL that helped with the Dave Rowland trial yesterday. It was well organised ( as ever) and everyone I spoke to agreed. Can't say that Rode very well, compared to others (Eiger!!) and I am now partially deaf after following a Montesa 4 stroke on the road for a couple of miles!! The sections were spot on with a good mix of terrain and nothing too hard on the clubman course, just tricky. Anyway just one comment to make about the trial. When are we going to have an award for best 125cc rider? Cheers SagSag

Ay up SagSag, yep cracking day out. Although I'd only started walking the first section when I was subject to a barrage of abuse from Messrs Green, Andrew and Peach who took great delight in ridiculing my waterproof attire! Had a trip over the bars after the Cat and fiddle when the Gasser stopped dead in a bog and I didn't and landed head-first in the deepest part, causing Phil Tuner to literally piddle himself laughing, although he's at that age now where it happens pretty regularly anyway!! Sad to say I preferred the Gasser to the Yam so from now on its modern machinery only! I might even ditch the Wulf gear for a more modern look! Well perhaps not just yet. Our Andy enjoyed his first road trial too. Great day out and superbly organised by Jude and the rest of the Man 17 team.

Ay up Eiger, a barrage of abuse! What do you expect when you turn-up dressed in a large prophylactic and Biggle's waterproof trousers!! He he! As Damian commented, the 300 Gasser may ave stretched your arms a bit, but still not enough to reach the bottom of your pockets! Ps dont go ditching the Wulfsport, the bright gaudy colours help me see you coming over the moors, meaning I can prepare my repatoir (sp) of abuse and wisecracks for you!! Seriously though you had a great ride and young 'un did well too!

Now then Numbnuts Hope all is well, yes I enjoyed a good ride and laughed as I watched the boy ignore the superb route marking and bugger off into the sunset only to return with a guilty look on his face tne minutes later!! Am more adamant to stick with Wulf gear now the Hebo boys are advertising their sponsorship of the Moscow 'lipstick for lads is good' brigade!! Was a bit upset to hear your wife giving me some stick about my 'under a tenner waterproofs' but I suppose a laugh is a laugh wherever you are. Off to Cornwall tomorrow for a weeks canoe and snorkel lessons and with any luck we might get near to the sea too!! Bloody Andrew has to come back on Wednesday in Manchester at Honeywell for a job interview then back to Cornwall. Then the following week he's got another interview at Fibracom in Whaley Bridge again as an apprentice, they look like a decent firm but what do you know about them? Then its back to work for me and a lifetime of depression!! Are you going to the world round? If we get a few of us we could turn it into a reet good do!! Let me know so I can falsify the figures for alcohol seizure (a free weekend and then some!!) regards Pierre.
